Telluride Golf Club Policies & Procedures

The Golf Course is closed for the season.


All players must register in the Golf Shop prior to play or entering the practice facility.

  • Each player shall have his/her own set of clubs. Rental sets are available in the golf shop.
  • All play will begin on the first tee unless otherwise notified by the professional staff.
  • All food and beverage must be purchased from the Telluride Golf Club or Altezza Restaurant. Absolutely no outside food and beverage nor personal coolers are allowed on the premises.


  • Starting times will be taken 7-days in advance for the public.
  • Singles, twosomes and threesome reservations should expect to be paired with an existing reservation as designated by the golf shop or starter,
  • Standby or walk-in groups will be accommodated at the first available tee time after member tee times


Rainchecks will be issued if the course becomes unplayable. Rainchecks will be issued based on the number of holes completed.


It is the goal of Telluride Golf Club to ensure that every guest has an outstanding experience. Groups are expected to maintain a pace of play of 4:20. Player assistants will be on the course to assist players with lost balls, raking bunkers and tending the flag


All players are expected to wear appropriate golf attire. Collared shirts for men, bermuda length shorts, no tank tops, cutoffs or denim are allowed. Soft spikes only.

The following is the acceptable dress attire for men and women playing golf at the Telluride Golf Club. Proper attire must be worn by all golfers who are using the golf course and/or driving range.


  • Slacks or Bermuda length golf shorts
  • Collared shirts/mock turtleneck golf shirts are acceptable
  • Hats worn facing forward


  • Slacks or Bermuda length golf shorts
  • Collared golf shirts with or without sleeves
  • Collarless golf shirts

The following attire will NOT be acceptable for men and women:

  • Denim jeans, slacks or shorts
  • Athletic shorts including beach or bathing suit style
  • Short shorts
  • Halter tops
  • Athletic warm-up suits
  • T-shirts or tank tops

Any guest or rider accompanying golfers on the course must wear the proper attire. The management of the Telluride Golf Club reserves the right to refuse business to any guest not conforming to the above dress code.


There will be an extra charge for spectators and riders. No walking or jogging on the course is permitted.


  • You must have a valid driver’s license to operate/drive a golf cart. If you disregard this rule and allow a minor or unlicensed driver to operate a golf cart you will forfeit your round and be asked to leave the premises.
  • No more than 2 people will be allowed to ride in a golf cart at any time. A group of three must take 2 golf carts.
  • Groups are limited to 4 people. We do not allow fivesomes.
  • Please obey all posted signs and/or warnings from the GPS system located on the golf carts.
  • Golf Carts are to be kept AT LEAST 50 YARDS from the greens.
  • At times Golf Carts will be restricted to Cart Paths ONLY! The Pro-Shop or Starter will inform you if this is the case.
